Does anyone have a rewards points audit program they could share?  I would like to review for compliance issues as well as adherence to internal policies, dispute processes, reversals and refunds, etc.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  Stephanie Norton, WSECU  [email protected]

Does anyone perform a separate "Coin Counter" audit with their cash handling audit processes? My security folks just alerted me to a scam where a credit union branch manager walked off with a few hundred thousand dollars over a few years.   Thanks Laymen

We have an expense approval process whereby every expense is approved by an authorized manager/supervisor. We are wondering whether we can simply things, reduce paperwork, (efficiency) if recurring budgeted expenses can bypass the approval process. For instance a bill that is budgeted and is the same amount every month, or is within a designated "normal" range. I'm thinking blanket approval for the bill to be paid by Accounting as long as the bill was within budget. Do any other credit unions do this?

Does your credit union allow joint owners on the membership as a whole, or on each individual suffix? (i.e. can you have different joints on your savings and checking, or if you're joint on the membership you're joint on all suffixes)?

For Daylight Overdrafts with our Fed account, our usage puts us into the "Exempt-from-filing" category (as detailed in the Federal Reserve Policy on Payment Risk).  I am, however trying to find any specific requirement and/or filing requirement to "officially" earn this designation.  Does anyone know of any such requirment?
