  1. Do you offer Overdraft Protection (paying an item into the negative) for a fee?
  2.  Do you monitor the number of items paid or amount of fees paid to determine excessive use?
  3. How many items or fees do you consider excessive?
  4. Over what period of time? (per month/per year, etc)
  5. Are NSF items included in the excessive count?
  6. Once you have identified an account has “excessive” Overdraft Protection usage, what do you do? (send a letter, call the Member, stop paying the items, suggest a loan, suggest credit counseling, etc)

We have our annual shareholders meeting tonight which includes the Supervisory Committee Chair giving the Committee's report. We give the same report every year. Anybody willing to share a Supervisory Committee Shareholders Report from their credit union so I can get some ideas for changing ours.

Good afternoon Everyone,Was hoping for some insight on how everyone monitors employee accounts and related accounts?  How does your data processor block access to those accounts and what do you do for new accounts that employees create? Thank you,Tim Merwin | Internal AuditorFirst Community Federal Credit Union[email protected]

Has anyone seen any best practices for indirect dealer contracts?  Does any agreements used contain provisions for initially or periodically obtaining dealer financial statements?

Hey, folks, a reminder that early-bird registration for the ACUARP Conference in June ends tomorrow (although you can still register after.)  Registrations keep coming in, and it looks like this will be the most well attended event in a few years.  Dana and her crew have put together a great lineup!  Hope to see you all there!/21st-annual-conference-one-day-seminar

Hi, What specific criteria (such as credit score, ChexSystems, etc.) do you use to determine what services a new member can qualify for (for example, checking account with a debit card, checking account with ATM card only, no checking account)?  Do you ever deny memberships based on any specific criteria?     Thank you!Diana Dupont[email protected]
