Hello,
This may be more for the compliance folks here. I was wondering if anyone uses an internal document for their Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) that outlines their responsibilities (e.g., keeping information current in the NMLS Registry, requirements to abide by Registry requirements and the consequences for failing to do so etc).
I am recommending that we create a document for new MLOs to complete and for all MLOs to complete annually. MLOs complete an attestation with the Registry, but we as the employer do not see that form nor is it written in plain English.
