We are looking to combine our Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Mgmt (responsible for risk assessments and vendor management) departments into one division with an AVP that oversees all three depts. If anyone is willing to discuss if your credit union is structured similarly and specifically, how you are able to still maintain independence and objectivity for the Audit function.
