Operational Loss/Error Standards

Good morning, 

Does your credit union have policies and procedures that address standards for Cash, Check, and Operational Losses/Errors? Our credit union has standards that include thresholds on disciplinary action resulting from cash differences, check losses, and other miscellaneous operational losses. Management is reviewing the current standards and would like to know if our standards are consistent with the industry or of we need to revamp our standards/thresholds.
