Recently, during a branch audit it was discovered that an employee gave a vendor the door code access number to the vault area. Internal Audit recommended that the door code number be changed immediately. A locksmith was called in to change the door code; however, now that locksmith has the door code. What would be the best practice to change door codes? This is not a lock that employees would be able to change the door code on.
