My credit union currently has a decentralized identity access management platform. IT is responsible for the core system. However, other systems are handled by the business units. In many instances the business owners do not have the skill set to be the administer of the system. We have a development plan in informaion security over a 3 year period to deal with this decentralized system but in the meantime, I am tasked with creating a committee to set some baseline structure for identity access management. The business units clearly need some guidelines as to the best approach for IAM. If there is anyone that has a decentralized system for IAM and would like to share some of your baseline procedures / guidelines, I would like to speak with you and transfer some of that knowledge.
