Does your credit union have any procedures for internal fundraiser activities?  Throughout the year our branches and back office departments will raise money for our foundation.  They will cook breakfast for internal staff, sell raffle tickets for a brand new TV or a Michael Kors purse, etc.  The ticket cost can range between $1.00 - $10.00.  The tickets are sold to internal staff and external members.  Every year, the foundation donates the fundraising money to educators within our field of memebrship.  The teachers have to apply for the $1,000.00 classroom grant money .  We recently had a skimming incident and now we are creating audit procedures for fundraiser activities.  Would you be willing to share your procedures?  Please email the procedures to [email protected]
