We don't currently have a policy which allows, or prohibits, former employees from serving on the Supervisory Committee or Board of Directors. In my opinion, if this is allowed, there should be a "cooling off" period, maybe one year, and maybe longer. If anyone has an example of how your credit union has addressed this issue, or if you have any recommendations for how to handle this, I'd appreciate your input.
