The decision was made to order iPads for the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Committee members. The vision is to use the tablets to provide everything in electronic form and eliminate paper. We have found that presentations can be placed on the tablets and the main presenter can control all tablets, keeping everyone's attention. What I am looking for would be an electronics policy (similar to the one Pat made available last year) to cover the use of the iPad, as well as some form of documrnt that explains the recourse for an iPad becoming lost, stolen, damaged or compromised. If anyone currently are using tablets with their Board and/or Supervisory Committee, or thinking about going this route, I would be interested in how the process was first implemented. Did they receive a small amount or large amount of training? Was there any issues having them sign a policy or guideline agreement? What is your credit union's stance if or should the tablet become damaged, lost, or stolen?Thank you in advance for your response. Randall Brackman Internal Auditor Wauna FCU [email protected]
