I am looking for information on how other credit unions are handling contents from safe boxes that have been drilled. We have several branches with safe boxes. When a box is drilled at one of our branches the contents that are considered abandoned or unclaimed are inventoried and then sent to our main office to be stored until sent in as unclaimed property. If anyone is willing to share how they handle this type of situation I would appreciate it.
